It’s “MANuary,” a month-long celebration of “phenomenal facial hair,” from Jan. 21 – Feb. 21 at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass., that will benefit Locks of Love, an organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children suffering from long-term medical hair loss.  The beard growing contest, conceived of by sophomores Matthew Clemente and Mark Reeth, even has faculty and administrators putting down the razors and collecting pledges for charity.
